To Whom It May Concern,
First off, thank you for creating this add-on. It looks like something I would like to use.
I am trying the "Reminder for Jira" plugin, but I must be missing something. I have followed the documentation to add the "Create Reminder" custom field to workflow/transition screens, but I don't see anything on my main screens to add/manipulate reminders. Attached are some screen-shots.
I don't see "My Reminders" from the issue screen. The only place I see to add reminders are on screens such as "Create" or "Reopen"
I don't see a way to browse reminders, or add new ones other than the way mentioned above.
I am pretty new to Jira, so it is likely there is just a misconfiguration on my part, but I find the documentation for installation and configuration lacking. Wondering if you might be able to help.
Normally you should see a little panel on the right hand side of issue view screen. According to your settings you should see this panel if you are a member of “confluence-administrators” or “confluence-users” group. Just to check wether this is a permission related issue, could you remove all group names from permissions and try to refresh the issue page? Are you sure that you are member of “confluence-administrators” or “confluence-users” groups?
I am actually a member of both groups. I removed the groups and now I see the Issue Reminders under the Issue (see attached).
Possibly a bug there?
Shouldn't I also be seeing a menu button for "my reminders"?
I will check why setting is not working as expected. The menu you are asking is ... next to the Add Reminder button.
Unfortunately I can’t replicate this problem with different combination of group and user membership. I will move this settings to Jira’s own “Project Permissions” section so that users will able to edit permissions based on single user, project role and group membership. Since this will also change how the add-on enables disables reminders panel I will test this again after new implementation. If you have any extra information please let me know.
