One of our staff pointed out an issue they ran into today. They were starting work on a JIRA issue and started the timer. They opened another browser window as they had to look at a linked issue to the original one. That second browser window showed the timer that had been started on the first browser window. The user eventually stopped the timer to log their time on one of the windows. When they went to the other browser window the timer was still running. Thinking they had not stopped and recorded their time they stopped the timer and entered their time again resulting in a double entry. In my testing I have found this is occurring in both our JIRA 7.1.7 and our upgraded JIRA 7.4.2 instances. I do see that I can have two timers going for different issues which I remember seeing you guys had implemented. Maybe this situation is a result of the multi timer functionality but need to somehow have that second instance stop when the first one is stopped. Is there any setting, I don't see one.
