We have staff who constantly forget to log time on issues and it would be great if the system can bug them.
Some people are part time (4h/day), and I would imagine it would be nice to be able to set it on a user definable basis.
Perhaps some sort of 'alert trigger' type thing where an admin can add a number of set rules..
When user = foobar, and daily hours < 4, send reminder
when group = fulltime_staff, and daily_hours < 8, send reminder
We really need this feature. Is this in the roadmap?
Yes, but we are not currently working on this. It should be ready in August or September depending on other issues. Currently we have everything needed to determine how many hours an employee should work in a day, week or month using "Holiday Schema", "Work Hours Schema". We are also showing this information on timesheet but we are not sending reminder emails yet.
Oh this is excellent news.
Although not as flexible as you have requested we have now completed this feature. If a user has log work permission, has in one of the groups specified in reminder configuration and he has not logged enough work (depends on holiday and work hours schemas) he will get a notification email. Period can be configured as daily, weekly and monthly. I hope it is good enough for you.
