A large number of users have reported a bug with wrong worklog date/time. This is how it started to occur since we installed the latest version:
1. open the worklog dialog, date is ok (please have a look at the screenshot date-is-ok.JPG)
2. when you start typing the time spent, browser lets you choose one of the previous options, from its internal history (screenshot pre-populated-timespent.JPG)
3. if you type-in completely new timespent value, date is ok. However, if you select one of the previous values, offered by your browser, not only timespent gets pre-populated, but somehow it changes the date as well. It seems that both of these values are being fetched from the browser history (screenshot wrong-date.JPG)
Date Started field should always have current time/date as its default value, and should not be fetched from history. This issue now affects all of our users (close to 1000 active users), and since worklog recording is our duty, it hugely affects our reports. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.
This has been noticed in Google Chrome Version 73.0.3683.103 (Official Build) (64-bit), but since the number of reported problems is huge, I assume that this occurs in other browsers as well.
