I was wondering if there is any possibility (obviously a dashboard widget) to visualize the logged work of an employee, compared to the time he needs to work (based on working-time schema, holidays etc.).
We are logging all our work in worklog Pro, but when we want to see how many hours of overtime an employee gathered this year we need to make some maths in excel.
If there is actually no way to get all this information in a dashboard widget, we would like to "request" this for a further version.
just wanted to ask again about this feature. If you would be interested in this, we could imagine to fund this feature.
Our timesheet contains this information if you group by user. It contains a bar chart that shows this visually and if you hover it also shows it as hours. Do you want something else?
thanks for that feedback - I was not aware that this already working. But right now, I have the following problem / issue:
We have a company holiday scheme (public holidays in our country) - to which I’ve added a Jira group (e.g. my team)
And we have private holiday schemes for every employee
When I add myself as a group member to the public scheme, and then add myself as a user to the private scheme it looks like only one scheme is used to calculate my “working time”. Is there a way to add a user to more then one scheme? Or copy a scheme anyway? For now it looks like I have to add a scheme for every employee and fill in all public holidays every time …
Unfortunately our app only allows user to be in one HolidaySchema, it is never though for managing personal leaves. Its purpose was managing different holidays for distributed teams. Creating a schema for each user is not practical for large organizations, and again only Jira or WP administrators can manage schemas and I don't think they are usually the ones who manages holidays.
We currently support doing this through the use of "Issues" setting. Using this setting you can create different issues for "personal leave", "sick days" etc. and require users to log their time on these issues. So they still complete their monthly, weekly timesheet but this effort is logged to special issues. This has several advantages, it is simple and allows you to see total time spent on various leaves.
